Environmental Impact Assessment

Environmental Assessment (EA) is the process by which local authorities will gather and consider information about the environmental effects of development proposals.

Where proposals are likely to have significant effects upon the environment, it will be necessary to provide an Environmental Statement (E.S.) to accompany the planning application.

By studying the impression that proposed developments may have on the local, national and international scene, along with any particular impingements on health, traffic and wellbeing of any or all people, animals  or plants within the vicinity of that development, Environmental Impact Assessment ( EIA ) can help to solve problems.

These assessments can be used to reduce the potential stresses on the local and global ecosystem at the planning stage.
